Jhulan Goswami And Subhashree Ganguly As Tata Steel Kolkata 25K Ratnas
Leading figures from the cricket and film industries, Jhulan Goswami and Subhashree Ganguly, respectively, are urging Bengalis to join the running revolution and sign up for the much-anticipated 2022 Tata Steel 25K on December 18. East India had a running revolution after the dynamic tandem was named the Ratnas of the seventh iteration of this World Athletics Elite Label road race.
“I’ve run throughout my entire life. Running a few kilometers during each game is a need for fast bowlers” said Jhulan.
Jhulan, a legendary figure in women’s cricket who took 355 international wickets across forms before retiring in September, stated that running has benefited her in a variety of ways beyond fitness. It is one of the easiest ways to stay fit.
The inclusion of the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K platform makes it so beautiful. The famous Ananda Run (4.5 km) is the event’s heart and a celebration of the distinctive spirit of Bengal. The Senior Citizens’ Run (2.3 km) will see Silvers rule the road, and the Champions with Disability (2.3 km) allows all to share center stage. The 25K and the open 10K are for those who are up for a challenge.
The reigning queen of Bengali cinema, Subhashree, is a wife and a mother, making her the ideal representation of a contemporary successful woman.
Registrations for all categories will remain open until November 30, IST 11:59 p.m., or till running places are filled, whichever is earlier, at tatasteelkolkata25k.procam.in.
