JITO Ahimsa Run 2.0 Promotes Spirit Of Fitness And Nonviolence
The much-awaited JITO Ahimsa Run 2.0 concluded successfully on March 31st, commencing at The Stadel Hotel in Salt Lake. This was announced by JITO (Jain International Trade Organisation). The purpose of this event was to encourage a spirit of health and fitness among participants of all ages, as well as to spread the message of nonviolence.
Arun Lal, former National Indian Cricketer and Current Bengal Coach, Sunil Kr. Mehta (Ex Dir. of Finance, Coal India) and Probir Sarker (Para-athlete) graced the occasion.
Three thrilling variations were available for participants of different levels of fitness: the 3K Fun Run, the 5K Timed Run, and the difficult 10K Timed Run. A diverse range of participants eagerly registered for this thrilling event, including families, running groups, solitary enthusiasts, and seasoned walkers as old as 84 years old.
The thrilling opening ceremony of the Ahimsa Race 2.0 took place at 5:30 am. Then, the 10K race flagged off at 5:45 am, the 5K run flagged off at 6:10 am, and the 3K run flagged off at 6:30 am. Timing bibs were given to participants to guarantee precise tracking of their performance during the run.

At The Stadel Hotel, an awards ceremony and thank-you speeches marked the event’s conclusion after the run.
