Cricket and music are two fields that are immensely popular in Kolkata. There is not a single family where music and cricket are not appreciated. Combining these two elements is the event DJs Cricket League. The main vision behind this league was to combine music and cricket and also to give the DJs some fun time to engage in.

A press conference was organized to announce the fourth edition of this tournament.

Veteran Indian cricketer Arun Lal, DJ Akash Rohira, founder of DCL, Paromita Ghosh, and others graced the press conference.

The jersey and the trophy of the tournament were also unveiled at the press conference.

This tournament was started in 2017. Due to the global pandemic, the event could not be held for the past two years. The organizers are excited that they are back with this event after such a long break.

Out of 72 registrations, 66 are male DJs while 6 are female DJs. A record number of registrations happened this year and the registration was closed within 48 hours of opening.

The 6 captains who have been selected are Harish, Vicky, Kunal, Hardik, Sunny, and Akash.

Each team in the tournament has been named with the sponsor’s name.

Each team consists of 11 players.

The teams are divided into two groups with three teams.

The tournament will have 6 league matches, 2 semi-finals, and the finale.

A new addition this year is the giving of awards after the finish of each match. The awards will be given in categories like the best batsman, best bowler, and overall performer of the match.

The man of the match or man of the series will be declared in the presence of eminent guests.

DJs who always add fun and excitement to the lives of others will also have some fun with the help of this DJs Cricket League.
