The press conference for Klikk’s new series Roktopolash took place in the presence of the director Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Roja Paramita Dey, Moumita Pandit, and others.

The story of Roktopolash is based on a story written by Guy de Maupassant. Eminent people from the city go to a resort located in a jungle. After going there, they come to understand themselves. They also realize their standing in their lives.

Director Kamaleswar Mukherjee was happy to work with Klikk. As a new platform, they have been producing great content for the audiences.

The director earlier had done a short film based on a story by Franz Kafka. He stated that he was trying his hands at adapting stories written by international authors and presenting them to the audience.

Roja plays the role of a smart woman Pritha. The character according to her is just like her real self. Only Pritha is more serious. She said “When I got a call from Kamal da, I did not ask him anything about the story. I was so excited that I will work with him. I went to his house and when I listened to the story, I was mesmerized and I agreed immediately to do it. There is more to life than our urban experiences. It will be a good series to watch”.

The cast of the series consists of Debdut Ghosh, Silajit Majumdar, Ananya Sengupta, Utsav Mukherjee, Roja Paramita Dey, Ashim Ray Chowdhury, Moumita Pandit, Subhojit Kar, Dipankar Mukherjee, Moushumi Dalal, and others.
