Real-life married couple Kaushik Ganguly and Churni Ganguly has been paired for the first time as a married couple for the upcoming Bengali film Subho Bijoya.

The teaser poster of the film was released in the presence of the cast and crew. Dhaak and conch shells were played to set the Pujo mood. As is evident from the title of the film, Durga Puja plays an important role in the narrative of this film.

The film Subho Bijoya is a story of a joint family residing in North Kolkata. Over time, the extended family begins to become more and more fragmented. An incident is forced to bring the estranged family members back to the house. What happens next?

Bonny and Koushani Mukherjee will pair up together for the first time in a family-centric film. This is the first time that these pair will be seen as a married couple in a film.

The cast of the film consists of Kaushik Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Bonny Sengupta, Koushani Mukherjee, Kharaj Mukherjee, Devtanu, Amrita De, and others.

This is the third Bengali feature film by Kichukhan Entertainment that is helmed by actor and singer Amrita De.

The film will be directed by Rohan Sen whose last film Aparajita released this year.

Neo Studios headed by Saptaswa Basu will be the creative producer of the film.

The music of the film has been composed by Anindya Chatterjee, Savvy, and Ranajoy Bhattacharya.

The BGM is by Savvy.

Subho Bijoya is scheduled to go on floors soon.

Keeping in mind the setting of the film, the makers have decided to release the film post-Bijoya Dashami.
