Bhowanipur 75 Palli organized the Khuti Puja today to mark the start of Durga puja preparations for 2022.

The occasion was graced by eminent personalities like Janab Firhad Bobby Hakim, Hon’ble Mayor of Kolkata, Minister in Charge – Transport, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs and Housing, Govt. of WB, Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Minister of Agriculture, Govt of WB, Debasish Kumar, MLA, Kartik Banerjee, Social Activist, Papiya Singh, Councillor, Sandip Ranjan Bakshi, Councillor, Ashim Basu, Councillor, Sayan Deb Chatterjee, State Secretary of West Bengal Trinamool Youth Congress, Babun Banerjee, President Bengal Olympic Association and others.

This is the 58th year of the Durga Puja.

The Puja is well known for the uniquely styled pandals and also for the social work that the puja committee does throughout the year.

Mr. Subir Das, Club Secretary said that this time the main focus will be the celebration of UNESCO’s recognition of Kolkata’s Durga Puja.
