Klikk has been coming out with new and interesting digital content since its launch. Now the digital content providing platform has come up with an original series titled Kalimpong Krimes.

Kalimpong Krimes is essentially a film within a film storyline. The story begins with a film’s shooting team arriving at an old British tourist lodge in Delo, Kalimpong. There are 2 heroines, a debauch producer, the producer’s brother, a cavalier hero, a shady cinematographer, a director, a manager, a scriptwriter, a villain, 2 assistant directors, and many more. A strange doctor Roychowdhury also arrives at the scene. He has a peculiar hobby of collecting primitive weapons.

An abnormal death occurs. It is however concluded as a suicide case by the local police. A detective named Niharika Sen arrives at the scene and reopens the case. Who is the next victim? What happens next?

The original series has been shot at Kalimpong and the Teesta river.

The director of the original series is Tapan Saha (Tap’S). The Chief AD is Animesh Tarafdar. The cinematographer is Ankkit Sengupta. The story and script are by Amitava Bhattacharya.

The cast of the original series consists of Deboleena Dutt(CID Investigator Sayani Brahma), Arjun Chakraborty (Doctor Roychowdhury), Payel Mukherjee (Actress Saira). Srijani Mitra Mustaphee (Actress Mallika), Trambak Roychowdhury(Hero Rahul), Rana Basu Thakur (Cinematographer Bubai), Rahul Burman (Producer Dayal), Indra(Producer’s brother Dev), Brishti Roy (Investigator Niharika Sen), Indranil Banerjee (Writer), Sumanta Mukherjee (Actor Shekhar), Deb Kumar Mitra (Director Pulak), Bunty Goswami (Manager Balraj), Amit Srimani(Policeman), Ashok Chowdhury (Contract Killer Iqbal), Papiya Sett (Receptionist), Raz Kumar Burmann( Asst Director) and Sahelee Majumdar ( Asst Director).
