In a friendly and joyous event, the Kolkata Ladies League (KLL), a distinctive all-women collective, was formally established. This marked the start of a unique project aimed at empowering women via resource sharing and cooperative development. With a strong emphasis on supporting businesses of all sizes, the recently established league, which has more than 60 members from a variety of professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds, seeks to establish a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and mutual advancement.

The event was graced by esteemed guests like Aditi Dutta, Founding Member & Owner, Akar, Swati Chakraborty Das, Kolkata Ladies League & Owner, Mishti Bahar, Nandini Bhattacharya, Founding Member & founder of All Bengal Men’s forum, Moumita Mukherjee, Founding Member & founder of Sristi Boutique, Soma Chakraborty, Founding Member, Kolkata Ladies League, and Co-Founder & Managing Director, Goodace Hospital and others.

The Kolkata Ladies League is a collaborative platform that brings together women from a variety of industries and professional domains in an effort to promote innovation, resource sharing, and collective advancement. The initiative’s goal is to enable participants to expand their businesses, grow together, and make significant contributions to the larger entrepreneurial scene.

In keeping with the spirit of the Bengali New Year and fostering deep relationships between members and visitors, the launch was celebrated with a unique Baishakhi Adda. Heartfelt intergenerational bonds with the elders of “Tomar Tikhana” were also witnessed at the event, giving the celebration a socially inclusive aspect. The event reinforced the league’s goal of creating a supportive ecosystem for women-led businesses by offering a stimulating forum for discussion, idea sharing, and the creation of new business opportunities.
