Listen To An Exciting Play Pordar Pechone At 10 PM On World Theatre Day
In honor of World Theatre Day, TOT Radio will debut a magnificent production tonight at 10 p.m., providing listeners with an engrossing dramatized reading of Pordar Pechone. The play, which was written by Hindol Nandi and directed by Rwitobroto Mukherjee, explores themes of mystery, treachery, and friendship while engrossing audiences with its gripping story.
The story centers on Payra and Majhi, two childhood friends who have joined the same theatre organization. As they see Tirandaj, a new play that is based on Tir, by Utpal Dutta, they discuss becoming investigators. When Biltu da, a senior group member, enters the room to seek first aid after allegedly cutting his hand with a prop arrow, their conversation takes an enigmatic turn. As Biltu da drifts off to sleep in the green room, Payra and Majhi engage in a detective game, fabricating a tale that implies Savlon was used as first aid and that Biltu da died from the poison from the arrow. Their game takes a sinister turn that results in a fascinating narrative twist!
Renowned performers Rwitobroto Mukherjee and Riddhi Sen, as well as up-and-coming actors from TOT School of Drama, make up the outstanding cast. Together, they give captivating performances that draw viewers into the play’s universe.
Listeners’ experience is enhanced by the melodic compositions of Ishanu Chakraborty and the skillful recording by Tunir Chatterjee, which complement the performances.
One can listen to Pordar Pechone tonight at 10 pm on the TOT Radio app, accessible on all app stores free of any charge.
