EVENT – A Calcutta Broadway (CB) production, Digital concert MAA ASHBEI, a unique Broadway musical extravaganza conceptualized by Sounak Chattopadhyay and Samya Karpha
The concept of amalgamating the best of vocalists, percussionists, folk musicians, and young artistes is a Charity Show and 100% of the ticket sales will go to support needy artistes, back-stage technicians, and fledgling musicians living in a dire situation due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
PROGRAM – Well-known classical vocalists Kaushiki Chakraborty, Iman Chakraborty, Sounak Chattopadhyay, and Sagnik Sen along with the Percussion orchestra of Tanmoy Bose and the beat of dhak by famous Dhakis of Bengal will entertain the audience. The dance choreography is by Sharmila Biswas and troupe along with Neelay Sengupta and a theatrical performance by none other than artistes of Nandikar. Samya Karpha’s Chandi Path will invoke the Divine Mother. The music arrangement has been done by Prattyush Banerjee and Pradyut Chatterjea and directed by Sourya Deb.
