The mahurat and the first-day shoot of the Bengali film Takar Rang Kalo took place recently.

Pashupati Samaddar is a well-known businessman with many businesses. His main aim is to earn money by any means. He is advised by his manager, PA to earn money through unfair means. He is a miser and even gives money to the beggars. He is childless and that is the reason why he and his wife have raised their nephew Jyotirmoy as their son. He spends his income on social work. The head of such a social work institution is Abhimanyu who is his guide and mentor.

Jyotirmoy is in love with Kuheli who works at the same social work institution. Her father goes to Jyotirmoy’s house to fix their marriage. However, he is ill-treated. After this incident, Jyotirmoy goes missing. What happens next?

The film is directed by Kalyan Sarkar.

The cast of the film consists of Amitava Bhattacharya, Sunita Mandol, Biswajit Chakraborty, Tanima Sen, Ratri Ghatak, Raju Majumder, and others.

The music will be composed by Ashok Bhadra.

The film’s shooting is currently in progress in different parts of Kolkata.
