The mahurat and first-look launch of the upcoming Bengali film Hungama.com took place recently.

Gracing the occasion were Om Sahani, director Dr. Krishnendu Chatterjee, Tulika Basu, and others.

The film is a sweet romantic story and has lots of comic elements. The audience will be in for a laugh riot with this film.

The film shows two families and how love develops between the kids of the two families. The families have a history of enmity and when love develops between the kids of these two families, all hell breaks loose. Birat Bhadra (Rajatava Dutta) and Bankim Basu (Kharaj Mukherjee) are the head of the two families. Despite having the surname Bhadra, it will be interesting to see how much Bhadra the family is. Samrat (Om) and Archana (Koushani) are the children of Bankim Basu. Puja (Srabanti) and Abhimanyu (Bonny) are the two children of Birat Bhadra.

The film is directed by Dr. Krishnendu Chatterjee. This is the second film by the director. Comedy is a genre that is much liked by the director and hence he has opted for the genre of comedy for his second film.

The cast of Hungama.com consists of Om Sahani, Srabanti Chatterjee, Bonny Sengupta, Koushani Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, Tulika Bose, Biswanath Basu, and Hrishie Raj.

Om said “Srabanti is a wonderful co-artist and a good human being. This is a great opportunity to work with her. Getting to work with such a good person is a rare thing in today’s world. Since this is a comedy film, I am keeping my eyes and ears open and listening to the advice of the director”.

The shooting will take place in Kolkata and Kalimpong.

Amit Mitra and Savvy are behind the music of the film. The title track is yet to be finalized.

The movie is going to be presented by S.S.Uddin and produced by SS3 Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

The film is expected to release in February or March.

The shooting of the film has already begun in different parts of Kolkata.
