As part of its outreach program, Monoshij, Techno India Group‘s mental health platform, hosted an on-site workshop aimed at improving the emotion management skills of children (10 to 15 years) of Seva, a non-profit organization based in Kaikhali.

When the world works in a hybrid way, temper tantrums and low frustration tolerance are becoming more common among school-aged children. As a result, it’s critical to know how to better equip them to manage their emotions, particularly anger, and not just control but also counteract it by knowing how to blow off steam and avoid build-up.

The session included hands-on activities such as identifying, brainstorming, and role-playing scenarios centered on effectively managing anger through adaptive mechanisms. The session aimed to bring awareness to how we behave in our daily lives by identifying our trigger zones when we face certain issues in our personal, social, or academic lives and ways to resolve them, as well as highlighting gratitude as an antidote to dissatisfaction.

The Monoshij platform is designed to effectively address our community’s various issues. Monoshij is organized around a set of needs that it caters to. Communities play a critical role in influencing behavior, improving the link between need and availability, and facilitating easy access to assistance.
