Ananya Pal is a noted author in modern Bengali literature. She unveiled a new detective character named Pushpaketu. The character look unveiling of Pushpaketu and Ulmuk was done in the presence of the author and Bhojo Gobindo famed actor Rohan Bhattacharya. Rohan will be playing the character of Pushpaketu.

“Bengalis are fond of detective stories. And from the time I became an actor, I have always wanted to portray a detective. Now that I have got the chance to portray Pushpaketu, finally, my dream is coming true. It will be interesting to portray the character as the time period in which the story is set is different. I will have to work on the language and diction and it will be challenging. However, I love challenges and this will be a great opportunity for me as an actor” said Rohan Bhattacharya.

The author has experimented with the language of the book. The language is simple but no loan words have been used. A lot of loan words are now used in the Bengali language now. And the author has not used them. Instead, she has used simple words to keep the flavor of the time.

Be it in the form of a film, series, or play, Rohan Bhattacharya will be seen in the role of Pushpaketu and the actor is looking forward to it eagerly.
