Trufrost & Butler unveiled its new 1,800 sq. foot Culinary Lab & Experience Centre in Kolkata. It will offer hospitality professionals throughout East India a dedicated venue to trial commercial kitchen, refrigeration, bakery, coffee, and bar equipment prior to making purchases.

The centre is designed as a functional workspace rather than a traditional showroom. Chefs, consultants, entrepreneurs, and foodservice operators can assess equipment performance, grasp how well it fits their workflow, and discover customized solutions suited to their menus and operations.

This marks Trufrost & Butler’s fourth company-managed center, following those in Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, and will function as a regional hub serving West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, the Northeast, Nepal, and Bhutan.

The facility houses equipment designed for commercial kitchens, bakeries, cafés, patisseries, bars, gelato and soft serve outlets, as well as food retail operations. The range encompasses ovens, mixers, sheeters, cooking lines, refrigeration systems, prep stations, coffee machines, grinders, display solutions, back bar refrigeration, bottle coolers, and ice machines. Visitors can also consult trained chefs, baristas, and technical specialists to assist with equipment selection, workflow planning, and operational guidance.
