Pariah Vol-1 Trailer Out Now; Vikram Chatterjee In New Action Avatar
Do you love stray dogs? Then your heart must have bled when news of stray dogs being mistreated reached you. Keeping in mind this mistreatment of stray dogs, director Tathagata Mukherjee has come up with a new film titled Pariah Vol-1.
The trailer of the film was recently launched in the august presence of the director, actors Vikram Chatterjee, Soumya Mukherjee, Angana Roy, Sreelekha Mitra, Loknath Dey, Debashish Roy, music composer Ranojoy Bhattacharya and others.
Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest was Jeet.
Speaking at the trailer launch, Jeet said “Vikram took some tips regarding the action scenes. As is evident from the trailer, he has worked hard to get such a fabulous body for the film. I know how hard it is to get such a body. The trailer looks hard-hitting about what is happening around us”.
Pariah means outcast. The stray Indian dogs are known as Pariah. Vikram’s character takes up the onus of protecting the stray dogs as no one fights for them.
Speaking about the role, Vikram said “This has been a challenging character for me. This is my first time doing an action film. I spent a good amount of time on the emotional and physical transformation. I have been engaged in doing martial arts for the last two months. I am nervous as to how the audience will react to this character”.
The director said that they did not have to face any challenges during the shoot as the actors were well prepared for their roles, and they had done full preparations before the shoot. The shoot with the dogs was also quite easy.
Sreelekha Mitra said “I know violence is not the answer to many issues. But at times, we need to resort to violence to protect something. That is not killing but protecting something. Like Ma Durga killed the Asura to protect the world. Violence against the stray dogs is not a good thing”.
The film is produced by Dreams On Sale and Pramod Films.
