Police Filez has been making the people aware of the crimes happening in society for the past eighteen years. The show recently completed its 18^th anniversary. A press meet was organized to celebrate this feat.

Gracing the press meet was Eshita Surana Poddar, Priyanka Surana Bardia, Directors of Aakash Aath, host of the show Sudip Mukherjee and others.

The crime show began its journey in 2003 and is among the longest-running crime show. The show depicts in a dramatized manner the crimes that take place in reality. The idea for the show was conceived by the late Ashok Surana. He started the show with the aim to make the viewers aware of the malicious events happening in society.

Speaking at the press meet, Sudip Mukherjee said “Whenever I have for shows to different parts of Bengal, people have immediately associated me with Police Filez. They have come up to me and said that they loved my performance in the crime show. It has made a huge mark in our lives. Even many actors and actresses who are established names now have begun their career with this show”.

A cake was cut on the occasion to celebrate this feat of completing eighteen years.

Police Filez is aired on Aakash Aath from Monday to Saturday between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm and on Sundays, it is aired between 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm.
