The premiere of the Bengali film Nirbhaya took place recently.

Present at the premiere were music director Pratik, Ena Saha, Rick Mitra, director Anshuman Pratyush, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Sreelekha Mitra, Writer Arnab Bhowmik, Gaurav Chakraborty, Hiya Dey, and Shantilal Mukherjee.

Rapes have been growing at an exponential rate in the country and this has been a cause of concern for the people. Strict laws need to be imposed for saving the girls.

Nirbhaya is a courtroom drama. The film intends to start a dialogue on why we need to take a look at the existing laws for supporting rape victims who are minors in age.

The film stars Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Sreelekha Mitra, Priyanka Sarkar, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Hiya Dey, Shantilal Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

The film has been produced by Pratyush Entertainment and AMRIK Entertainment Space.
