Press Meet of Bharat Bangladesh Film Awards 2019 Organized
A press meet was organized to announce Bharat Bangladesh Film Awards 2019.
Present at the press meet was Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Rituparna Sengupta and other eminent dignitaries.
The main aim of the award ceremony is to celebrate Bengali cinema of India and Bangladesh.
The event was promoted by Film Federation of India and Basundhara Group. The event was presented by T M Films.
20 awards including 13 popular, 4 (Indian) regional and 3 technical awards were awarded at the ceremony.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ranjit Mallick and Anowara Begum for their contribution to Bengali films.
This is the inaugural edition of the award ceremony and the event was held in Dhaka on 21st October. Eminent dignitaries like Rituparna Sengupta, Paoli Dam, Srijit Mukherji, Jaya Ahsan, Shakib Khan, Parambrata Chatterjee and others graced the occasion.
