Red Bull Showrun Mumbai 2023 Enthralled Audiences In Mumbai
With its famous RB7 vehicle, Oracle Red Bull Racing provided Mumbai with a spectacular Formula One showcase. The Red Bull Showrun Mumbai 2023 was a memorable occasion thanks to the F1 engine scream in a car driven by celebrated 13-time Grand Prix winner David Coulthard. Coulthard entertained the crowd along a 1-kilometer stretch of the sea-facing Bandra Bandstand Road while showcasing the remarkable performance of the Oracle Red Bull Racing vehicle.
This massive event was organized with significant help from the Maharashtra State Government, Mumbai Police, Mumbai Traffic Police, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra Maritime Board, Bandra Bandstand Residents Trust, and Mumbai Fire Brigade.
“It’s always fantastic to be back in India. We are very grateful for the support that the F1 fans in this nation have always shown us. I’m visiting for the show run for the third time. I’m eager to visit India once more soon! It was fantastic to take the car for a spin at such a famous venue. Driving a Formula One car is always a memorable experience for fans. We are the only crew to have driven a Formula One vehicle on the streets of Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand, which made this Showrun even more unique. I’ll remember this city and its energy for a very long time when I get home” said David Coulthard.
Supercars from the Super Car Club Garage, owned by industrialist Gautam Singhania, founder and chairman of Super Car Club of India, paraded the streets as an opening act for the Showrun. Lithuanian freestyle stunt biker Aras Gibieza performed some gravity-defying feats, followed by a special delivery for Coulthard that was fulfilled by Swiggy Instamart.
The show run was flagged off by Poonam Mahajanji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament – Mumbai North Central along with Ashish Shelarji, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra, officially unleashing the RB7 to enthrall the fans.
Also present at the event were top Red Bull athletes like Ashwini Ponnappa, Tania Sachdeva, Ujjwa l‘Techno Gamerz’ Chaurasia, Ankit ‘V3nom’Panth, Mira Erda, and several other well-known celebrities and social media personalities.
