Pain creates a complex tapestry in our lives, looming large over a great number of people. A startling 22.5% of people in the huge country of India suffer from chronic pain. As we travel the world, this ailment becomes even more prevalent, rising to an astonishing 40% in some regions. It appears that growing older is the key to releasing the grasp that pain has on society, as its hold becomes more pronounced as time goes on.

Pain manifests itself in a myriad of forms, weaving its way through our bodies like a haunting melody. From the weary knees that whisper in protest to the aching back that cries out in anguish, from the burdened shoulders that crumble under the weight of existence to the tormented spine that twists and turns in agony. Migraines, hips, shoulders, and hands each bear the mark of pain’s relentless pursuit. Yet, even amidst this tapestry of despair, another form of pain emerges, a pain so excruciating that it consumes one’s very being – the dreaded suffering of advanced-stage cancer.

We often turn to drugs in our search for comfort, which provides a little reprieve from our suffering. However, the fight against chronic pain necessitates a more thorough strategy—interventional pain management, a specialty treatment. This therapeutic method opens the door to a world of pain relief without invasive treatments because of its soft touch. Defying popular belief, life-threatening illnesses are not the only cause of chronic pain. Instead, the vast majority of cases are caused by degenerative elements, which are the outcome of time’s unrelenting march forward. Exercise deficiency and physical inactivity aggravate pain even more.

The 8th International Conference on Recent Advances in Pain (ICRA Pain-2024) will be held in Kolkata, organized by Daria Pain Hospital in Rajarhat. It will be attended by 300 pain specialists from home and abroad. On the 8th and 9th of March, the conference will happen and on the 10th of March, a hands-on workshop will take place for the doctors.

Doctors from Nepal, Bangladesh, Ireland, and others will be participating in this event.

To announce this event, a press conference was organized in the presence of Dr. Gautam Das, , Dr. Shuvomay Nanda, Dr. Niru Nepal, Dr. Bindu Chauhan, and Dr B.S. Saba Ahmed.

With its gaze fixed unwaveringly on repairing the maladies of damaged or degenerated joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments, Regeneration Therapy stands as a testament to the wonders of medical progress. Whether wear and tear wrought by time or the scars left by sports injuries, this therapeutic marvel harnesses the power of the human body itself. Blood, the life force that courses through our veins, offers a wellspring of healing potential. Through the art of extraction and separation, we unveil the hidden treasures within our anatomy – platelets infused with a unique growth factor called alpha granules. These humble entities hold the key to regeneration, breathing life into the wounded recesses of our being and bestowing upon us relief from pain’s unyielding grasp. Where steroid injections merely offer temporary respite, Regeneration Therapy unveils a more enduring remedy – a solace that stands the test of time.

With CRA Pain-2024, there will be a growing awareness of Regeneration Therapy and newer means of curing the pain.
