In the esteemed presence of Qin Yong, (Chinese Deputy Consul General), Dr. Julie Banerjee Mehta, (academic and author), Rita Bhimani, (author), Indrani Ganguly, (publisher at Readomania), and Ishika Konar, (Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency), the book Meandering Mouthfuls was launched.

The book launch took place at the South City Mall outlet of Starmark.

The book is written by Rita Bhimani.

The book covers cuisines of different countries like the USA, China, South Africa, France, Italy, Spain, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Japan. It also has a number of easy recipes at the end from experts that readers can make at their homes.

Each chapter starts with a limerick.

Rita Bhimani added that she first started writing about food in 1982 in a column titled Eating Out. She has been lucky to explore different cuisines from around the world. In this book, she has written about the different cuisines and also the amazing people she has met during her travels in the last five decades. Food for her is about memories, relationships, and stories that travel across geographies and generations.
