Government of Jharkhand organized a roadshow for the upcoming Global Agriculture and Food Summit 2018. Pooja Singhal, Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Governemtn of Jharkhand, Vijay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Department of Industries, Govt of Jharkhand, K Ravi Kumar. Director-Industries, Department of Industries, Govt of Jharkhand and others graced the occasion.

Ms Singhal added that the Government of Jharkhand has taken up the initiative to increase the income of the farmers and also enhance employment opportunities and investment ecosystem.

As part of the plan of the Government to double the income of the farmers by 2022, the Government’s plan highlighted on drawing the investor’s attention towards agriculture and food processing sector in the state.

The roadshow also highlighted on the investor friendly food and feed processing policies of the Government of Jharkhand.

The Global Agriculture and Food Summit’18 will be held at Ranchi on 29^th and 30^th November.

The event concluded with an interactive session with investors interested to invest in Jharkhand.
