Saiyami Kher As Showstopper For Samant Chauhan’s The Nomad Bride
The Nomad Bride was introduced at the latest Lakmé Fashion Week in association with FDCI and India’s largest salon chain, Lakmé Salon, which has served as the beauty partner to more than 500,000 brides over the past 40 years. After successfully introducing Queentessential, a timeless collection of hair and makeup looks for contemporary brides, and the range of luxury bridal services offered in-salon, Beauty Sutra, Lakmé Salon strengthened its offerings with The Nomad Bride, which was inspired by Central Asian nomadic queens.
Samant Chauhan is the man behind these deisgns.
The event took place at the Jio World Convention Center, Bandra Kurla Complex.
This collection adds a cultural flair to contemporary bridal looks, impressing the media, influencers, buyers, and partners equally with actor Saiyami Kher as the collection’s showstopper.
The Nomad Bride is a stunning synthesis of Central Asian creativity, traditional materials, dramatic makeup treatments, and beautifully woven hairstyles, according to show-stopping Saiyami Kher. “I am thrilled to have walked for Samant since his designs are beautiful but affordable. Playing their showstopper with such a glamorous appearance was amazing because Lakmé Salon has been a part of my beauty experience since before I started working in the field” said the actress.
Samant believes that every item, whether it be made of patchwork, ikat, embroidery, or crochet, captures the current cultural zeitgeist. His work is influenced by the nomadic tribes of Central Asia, and each of his pieces tells a unique and captivating tale.
