The upcoming historical mythological drama Satipeeth Kalighat, which will bring to life the centuries-old tale of one of Bengal’s most revered spiritual and cultural landmarks, will be presented by Zee Bangla, Bengal’s top entertainment channel.

The show follows Kalighat‘s remarkable transformation from a modest shrine in the marshlands to an iconic temple intricately entwined with Bengal’s cultural and spiritual identity, all set against the rich backdrop of Bengal over centuries.

Satipeeth Kalighat reveals the many well-known and lesser-known tales behind the creation of this hallowed shrine by fusing mythology, history, and folklore to examine how faith, devotion, fate, and the lives of remarkable people came together to shape the legacy of Kalighat.

Arindam Ganguly, Dronn Mukherjee, Arpan Ghoshal, and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the serial.
