There were rumours regarding the lead actor of the biopic on Rakesh Sharma. Rumours were Shahrukh Khan will be playing the part. Producer Ronnie Screwvala has put an end to the rumours. SRK will be seen in this film. Earlier it was rumoured that Aamir Khan will be seen in this film.

The shooting will begin next year. The film’s name was Salute but it has been changed to Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. Bhumi Pednekar may be seen in this film opposite SRK.
