Sayan Ghosh and Shreya Bhattacharya were seen shooting for the Bengali film Bidehi in Kalimpong.

Bidehi is a story of motherhood. The story is about two mothers and revolves around their maternal feelings. Saptarshi and Meghla, a couple comes to Kalimpong to resolve the tension in their relationship. Meghla has been trying hard for many years to get pregnant but to no avail.

They face trouble getting a hotel due to the global pandemic. They get information about a homestay. It is closed due to maintenance. Kanhaiya and Madhuri, a couple lives there for looking after the property. Madhuri is pregnant. Saptarshi and Meghla came to the homestay and starts living there. What happens next?

The film is directed by Shaheen Akhtar and produced by Rudra Film. This is the debut film of the director.

According to the director, there are certain stories that have to be felt rather than told. He hoped that the audience will love his debut film.

The script has been written by Suchandan Baidya and Shaheen Akhtar.

The cast of the film consists of Sayan Ghosh, Shreya Bhattacharya, Subhashish Sikdar, Gopal Sarkar, Somnath Mondal, Uma Banerjee, Papiya Pal, Jeet Sundar, Madhyama Halder, and Trishan Ghosh.

The shooting of the film was done in various parts of Kalimpong.
