He has really awkward pals and slightly strange parents, and his one bright spot from boyhood is his childhood sweetheart Piu. There are many quirky people in the area. In the end, Guddu steals the only family relic and flees to Kolkata with the aid of his buddy Aalpin, a penny stock trader with his own plans. His objective was to travel to the home of his distant cousin Fotke da, who was a big success and had a luxurious job at an MNC and ask him for a job. However, his aim is so clear that people in Begunbagicha understand his strategy.
Piu travels to Kolkata with his mother Mohima, his friend Jogen, and Guddu’s schoolteacher. A string of events transpire Guddu emerges as a hero after an unintentional act of bravery, and the media refers to him as Notun Bhai. What happens next?
Director Kamaleswar Mukherjee said “In essence, this is a social comedy. The ensemble cast’s contribution allowed us to complete the film, and I am appreciative of their efforts. To make the project possible, a group of new producers joined together, including Big Cat Films, Europa Media Entertainment, GPE Entertainment, and Dark Energy. They have my gratitude as well. The thing that most surprised me was how still relevant Bonophool’s story is, even after all these years, considering he was the one who wrote it. It addresses the current unemployment situation and the challenges that today’s youth are facing”.
Looks like a promising story to look forward to!!
