“After we completed the shooting of Kakababur Protyaborton, we took the last flight to come back to India. And after that, the lockdown began. Shooting the film in Africa with tigers, elephants and other animals was indeed a lifetime experience. And on top of that, the pandemic gave us a new look at the world” said Prosenjit Chatterjee at the official merchandise launch of the upcoming Bengali film.

Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmick, Indraadip Dasgupta, and Rupam Islam along with members of the official merchandise partner, Bongmade graced the occasion.

Anindya Sain partner and Chief Executive Officer of Bongmade said that they have been operating for the past two years and their designs have been liked by people from all age groups. For the Kakababu film, they have come up with coasters, diaries, and t-shirts that will be available on their official website www.bongmade.com.

The film is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel. This is the third book of the Kakababu franchise.

Kakababur Protyaborton has been shot in the jungles of Africa, and also in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Speaking at the occasion, Aryann said “We have so many amazing stories to tell about the shoot for this film. Getting the feet licked by tigers or shooting with elephants and other animals has been an enriching experience for me. I hope that when the film releases, it brings much joy to the audience who could not go anywhere due to the pandemic. I also hope that the pandemic ends and we can again return to our normal lives”.

The lyrics have been composed by Srijato and the cinematography of the film has been handled by Soumik Haldar.

Rupam Islam said “I have sung songs in the first two films on this franchise too. I have been an avid fan of Kakababu from a young age. Srijit took my Kakababu Samagra for reading the story. I am glad that I again got a chance to sing in the third film of this amazing franchise”.

Anirban Chakrabarti will be seen in an interesting role in the film.

Kakababur Protyaborton will release on 4^th February.
