The Vedic, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat’s specialty restaurant introduced its new summer menu. Starting on April 21st, 2023, this energizing new menu will feature a variety of mouthwatering and tasty foods ideal for the sweltering summer season.

The talented in-house culinary team at Vedic has mindfully curated a menu that celebrates the vibrant and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine into the three menus from the summer collection i.e. ‘Aarush’, ‘Grīṣmaḥ’, ‘Divākaraḥ’.

A variety of vegetarian alternatives are available on the menu, all of which are made with the highest-quality ingredients, are gluten-free, have the proper sources of oil, and are cooked to perfection. The forgotten millets are high in protein and antioxidants and are featured prominently on the “Aarush” menu. Some of the dishes on this menu include ‘Makaaya’, ‘DadhijhRajgira’, ‘Dal Vedic’, ‘Doodhi’, and ‘Makhan Malaiyo’.

Relish the best flavors of the recipes inspired by the ingredients and cooking techniques based on different local cuisines of India. Grīṣmaḥ showcases recipes like ‘Kothimbir Shorba’ inspired by Maharashtra cuisine, and ‘Kachaloo polic hattu’ inspired by Kerala cuisine.

‘Divākaraḥ’ is inspired by summer-grown ingredients packed with rich aromas and earthy flavors. It includes dishes like ‘Kulath Shorba’, ‘Kangini Ki Sholey’, ‘Aluk Kachorika’, ‘Bharwan Kadhai’, and ‘Thalipeeth’ to name some.
