One of the top privately held bus and coach manufacturers in India, MG Group, celebrated a major milestone by introducing TIGRA, a ground-breaking line of internally produced super-premium intercity coaches, and its new corporate identity. The TIGRA, which is offered on all 13.5-meter coach chassis for both domestic and international markets, is designed and produced at the MG Group’s coach manufacturing facility in Belagavi. It provides the highest level of comfort and safety.

These significant launches, aimed at both local and foreign markets, took place during the Group’s premier “RE: BORN” event, hosted at Bengaluru‘s Royal Senate Palace Grounds.

Present at the launch were the leadership team of MG Group, which includes Mr. Anil Mohan Kamat, Chairman & Managing Director, MG Group, Mr. Sivakumar V., President – Strategy & Sales, MG Group, and Mr. Gireesha Prabhu, Chief Operating Officer, MG Group. Also gracing the occasion were the key stakeholders from across the automotive and mobility ecosystem, including MG’s coach customers, suppliers, and technology partners.

Ten years have passed since MG Group entered the premium coach market with the introduction of its new corporate brand. Customers are guided from concept to market and beyond by the new logo’s unbroken flow from M to G, which represents a smooth trip. Its hexagonal shape, which was modeled after a metal bolt, highlights the brand’s technical prowess.

It represents a shift from a contract manufacturer assisting with large-scale OEM manufacturing to a provider of brand-driven, product-led mobility solutions. MG Group is now positioned as a visible and valuable force in the changing transportation market thanks to this updated identity, which represents a larger strategic transformation.

A new visual language and messaging approach are part of the brand makeover, which aims to better convey MG’s end-to-end capabilities and expanding aspirations in the intercity coach and future-ready mobility segments.
