Together For Children Organized by CRY To Commemorate 40 Years Of Its Journey
CRY – Child Rights and You, organized an event ‘Together for Children’, while celebrating the 40th year of its journey with the underprivileged children of India.
CRY invited eminent personalities like Soumitra Chatterjee, Rajatava Dutta and Rini, who read out thoughts that children had expressed, to the audience.
The keynote address was delivered by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Sashi Panja – Honourable Minister, Independent Charge, Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.
Eminent actor Koel Mullick inaugurated this program and said that her memories about CRY revolved around the cards she got during New Year.
The letter-reading session was followed by performances by children who took to the stage under the guidance of Tanushree Shankar and Pandit Tanmoy Bose, who have been coaching and guiding them under the Master Class Pragramme, an initiative by CRY.
