A businessman along with his wife and four months old child comes to Kolkata. However, their child goes missing and they report this incident to the nearest police station. The businessman announces a prize for finding their child. The police arrest the local goons but find no clue about the missing child. The businessman goes back to Bangladesh. However, a gang from the local slum finds the child. What happens next? This is the story of the upcoming Bengali film Kanta Tarer Bera.

A press meet of the film was organized to launch the trailer and music of the film. The event was graced by director Biplab Kayal, Joy Banerjee, Bidisha Paul, Deep Das, and others.

The director said that with this film it will be shown that even people from the slums have humanity. Often we ignore them or stay away from them. However one must never forget that they also have a humane side and are often more sensitive than people living in big houses.

Rajesh Sharma, Supriyo Dutta, Debraj Mukherjee, Ankush Mondal, Avilash Chakraborty, and others will be seen in other important roles in the film.

The film has been in Bishnupur, Kolkata, and other areas.

The music has been composed by Arin Prosenjit Das. There is only one song in this film.

The film will release on 12^th November.
