The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Antardhaan took place in the presence of the director Arindam Bhattacharya, Parambrata Chatterjee, Tnusree, Mamata Shankar, Rajatava Dutta, Mohar Choudhury, Akshay Kapoor, and others.

The story of Antardhaan revolves around a couple Anirban (Parambrata) and Tonu (Tnusree) who moves to Kasauli with their daughter Zinia. Zinia goes missing one day. What happens next is what the story of the film is all about.

The thriller has been shot in beautiful locations like Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Mohar said “I am very excited that my first film is going to release soon. It was a pleasure working with the ladies in the film. I knew Rajatava Dutta from before as he is the father of my friend. However, I was scared of Param da (Parambrata) as I thought he will be an angry person. I even saw him getting angry at some people who were talking during the shoot. I had a great time shooting the film”.

Mamata Shankar said that she wanted to be a part of this film at all costs. She had even asked the director to cast her in the role of a maid if possible. However, that did not happen, revealed the director.

Despite being a thriller, Parambrata, Tnusree, and Rajatava revealed that they had great fun shooting the film.

Akshay Kapoor thanked Parambrata and Rajatave for helping him in his scenes. He had worked with Parambrata in Hemlock Society and other films, so he was a bit accustomed to him. He was however surprised with the cool attitude of Rajatava Dutta on the sets of the film.

The music of the film has been composed by Ratul Shankar.

The film was scheduled to release earlier but was postponed due to the pandemic. The film is now eyeing for release on 10^th December.
