TTF Kolkata 2026 Starts On A Great Note In Kolkata

The Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Kolkata 2026, recognized as India’s oldest and largest travel show, was inaugurated on July 10, 2026, at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan. Organized by Fairfest Media, the event serves as a significant catalyst for the travel trade industry in Eastern India. By bringing together tourism boards, travel companies, hospitality brands, airlines, and technology providers, the fair serves as a comprehensive platform for fostering industry collaboration and business development.

The 2026 edition demonstrates substantial scale, featuring over 500 exhibitors representing 21 Indian states and six countries, including Bhutan, the USA, and Vietnam. The event is projected to attract more than 7,000 travel trade professionals and over 2,000 general visitors. The strategic structure of the fair emphasizes a dual-focused approach: the initial two days are dedicated to business-to-business (B2B) networking, while the final day is open to business-to-consumer (B2C) visitors.

This year’s edition highlights Thailand as the Featured Country. Domestically, West Bengal serves as the Host State, while other participating Indian states include Goa, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Odisha. Additionally, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Assam, Meghalaya, and others are designated as Featured States.

Notable figures, including Shri Shankar Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal, and Shri Satpal Maharaj, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Culture, Rural Works & Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttarakhand, attended the high-profile inauguration.

Kolkata remains a critical hub in India’s travel landscape, maintaining a unique significance as the inaugural site for the TTF series. According to Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal, Founder & CEO of Fairfest Media, the fair provides a powerful platform for travel brands to connect with the travel trade, especially as it is held ahead of the crucial Durga Puja and winter travel booking seasons.

By facilitating connections between stakeholders and the thriving travel market of Eastern and Northeastern India, TTF Kolkata 2026 continues to reinforce its role as a key driver for destination promotion and industry growth.
