Roshni Bhattacharya who is the female lead in the film said that she was shocked when she got the call from the director to act in his film. The biggest achievement for her was to act opposite Uttam Kumar in the film.

Gourab was slated to work with Srijit Mukherji in his first film Autograph. However, they could not work together due to some reasons. “I am grateful that after ten years, we got the chance to work together. The fact that he remembered me speaks immensely about him as a human being. I was nervous during the initial shooting. He coaxed me and said you will be acting opposite your grandfather. So chill and that was a huge boost” said the actor.
