In the presence of Shri Samarendra Kumar, DDG, NCSM, Shri Pramod Grover, Director-In-Charge, Science City, Kolkata, Dr. Kamaleswar Mukherjee, a renowned film director, actor, and physician, and other eminent guests the new large format movie “Voyager: The Never-Ending Journey”  was officially launched.

The most incredible space voyage in human history is the subject of this gripping full-dome movie. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, along with their moons, were the solar system’s outermost planets that the two space probes Voyager 1 & 2 studied after their 1977 launches. A visually beautiful 30-minute featurette, “Voyager: The Never-Ending Journey” is available in both 2D and 3D. These spacecraft significantly increased our understanding of the far-off planets. They currently explore interstellar space, four decades later. Both probes, which are sent into space like two bottles, contain the Golden Record, an interplanetary message for any extraterrestrial civilization.

The film has received several nominations and won “Science Presenting Award”, “The Best Special Effect Design Film Award”, and “Audience-Choice” awards, etc. across national and international film festivals.

About 5-6 shows of this film will be screened regularly between 11 am to 5 pm with narration in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
