Pekham is a well-educated and independent woman. However, she has a past that often troubles her. She hides her pain from those close to her. Abir on the other hand is a person who lives in a large joint family. He is in love with Pekham. His dream of marrying Pekham comes true. After their marriage, will Pekham be able to open up to her husband about her past? Will Abir understand the reason for such a reaction from Pekham?

This is the story of Star Jalsha’s new serial Bodhua.

A press conference was organized that was graced by the producer, writer, and creative director of the show Susanta Das, Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh, and Jyotirmoyee Kundu.

Dipankar Dey will play the role of Abir’s grandfather.

Speaking at the press conference, Rezwan said “The role of Abir is something I have not done before. The character is full of life and very positive. He is the life force of the family. He is also loved by the neighbors. Portraying such a character is a good opportunity for me as an actor”.

Jyotirmoyee Kundu said “Pekham wants to become a good television journalist. However past trauma often comes up and she suffers from a low confidence level. She dislikes big families with a lot of family members. It is simply due to her past trauma. It is not that she does not like many family members but she cannot adapt to such situations. What will happen to her? Watch the serial to know more”.

Susanta Das said “Many people will think that she is deliberately trying to break the joint family after getting married. But that is not the case. It is due to her past trauma that she acts in that way. The trauma that she suffered will be revealed later”.

Bodhua will start airing from 4^th March from Monday to Sunday at 7.30 pm only on Star Jalsha SD and HD.
