International Yoga Day and World Music Day, are celebrated on 21st June.  Keeping this in mind, Cloud Social Rooftop Lounge organized a special on ‘Yoga for Humanity’ and ‘Music on the Intersections’ in the presence of a panel of esteemed guests like Mr. Rahul Singhee, Co-Owner, Cloud Social Rooftop Lounge, Mr. Yash Agarwal, Fitness Expert, Dr. Debashish Biswas, Trichologist and Anti-Ageing Expert,  Rj Ryan, Ms. Ipshita Banerjee Bhandary, Entrepreneur,  Ms. Runa Laha, Model and fashion coordinator and other dignitaries.

Yoga helps balance the body and brain, according to Mr. Rahul Singhee, co-owner of Cloud Social Rooftop Lounge. “We, therefore, wanted to discuss circumstances that reduce stress in our daily lives on this International Yoga Day. Nowadays, everyone has experienced some form of depression, which is one of the reasons we encourage people to practice yoga in order to live longer. Let’s move in the direction of a healthier life. Additionally, today is World Music Day. Let’s honor music lovers by just listening to the music they enjoy. Let’s value the musical spirit, the vivacity of the vocals, and the melodies of the instruments while putting our mental health first”.

“Stress is harmful to our skin in almost every way and accelerates the aging process by causing fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, yoga increases blood flow and circulation throughout the body, which detoxifies the skin and promotes hair growth. Yoga can help us improve the circulation beneath your skin. Since blood flushes out waste from your skin cells and delivers nutrients and oxygen, improved blood circulation gives your skin a radiant glow. Yoga also repairs harmed skin cells. Holistic health advantages can be attained through yoga. Utilize yoga’s ability to heal the body and give yourself radiant, youthful skin by practicing it frequently” said Trichologist and anti-aging specialist Dr. Debashish Biswas who has an experience of 15 years in the hair and skin care sector.

The event brought to light a special connection: while yoga can be practiced in silence, its benefits can be enhanced by pairing it with calming music. Yoga and music are both regarded as forms of complementary medicine. Each of the two has extraordinary healing abilities. So it makes sense that combining music and yoga can lead to countless opportunities for healing, change, and peace. RJ Ryan used his voice and mandolin playing to remind everyone that yoga and music can both calm the mind on the occasions of International Yoga Day and World Music Day.

The session came to a close with the idea that practicing yoga regularly ensures a healthier future and that it integrates a person’s physical, mental, and spiritual aspects to improve aspects of health, especially illnesses caused by stress. There is evidence that stress plays a role in the development of heart disease, cancer, stroke, and other chronic conditions and diseases. Recent years have seen a significant increase in the scientific study of yoga, and numerous clinical trials have been developed to evaluate its therapeutic effects and advantages. Yoga can also benefit from the addition of music.
