Zee Bangla has always been at the forefront to come up with amazing story ideas for their serials. The channel will be gifting the audience with a new show titled Pilu that is set in the backdrop of classical and folk music.

The story is set in Guru Aditya Narayan’s – Gurukul.  Ahir is a responsible boy and is the most promising disciple and Guruji’s wife wants Ahir to get married to their egoist daughter Ranjini, who is a sitar player.

Ahir in his musical journey meets with Pilu an excellent folk artist who dreams of taking folk music to the global platform.

Ahir and Pilu fall in love with each other but Ahir’s gurudakhina is to marry Ranjini. Will Ahir and Pilu be able to fulfill their aspirations? How will music help Ahir and Pilu to unite?

The story, screenplay, and script are by Saswati Ghosh.

Pilu will be directed by Rajendra Prasad Das.

The music has been composed by Upali Chattopadhyay.

Jayanti Sen is the stylist of the show while the editing has been done by Jishu Nath.

Pilu will be aired from 10^th January, Monday to Sunday at 6.30 pm only on Zee Bangla.
