The music and teaser launch of the film Erao Manush took place recently. Gracing the occasion were the cast and crew of the film.

The film is in the genre of a psychological thriller.

When Bubla’s father, Gobinda, commits suicide after learning of his wife’s deceit, his early years are tragically marred. Bubla’s suffering escalates into violence when he is left with a careless mother. When he reappears at a rural fair fourteen years later, he is brought to the eerie Anandadhara Mental Asylum, which is run by vicious power broker Sukhmoy Samanta. A dark empire, repressed dissent, and human exploitation are hidden behind its walls. Journalist Neel, in the meantime, discovers the plot but vanishes inexplicably, forcing his childhood pals Abanti and Deep to get back together in spite of their past grievances. They witness cruelty, treachery, and the fall of Sukhmoy’s rule as their quest for Neel takes them far into Anandadhara.

Are they going to locate Neel? And what sinister secrets are hidden behind the walls?

The cast of the film consists of Srabanti Chatterjee, Jeetu Kamal, Satyam Bhattacharya, Rahul Banerjee, Koneenica Bandopadhyay, Biswanath Basu, Chandan Sen, and others.

The production house behind the film is Sai Vignesh Films.

The film has been directed by Sai Prakash Lahiri and Amit Talukdar.

The music has been composed by Balasai Lahiri. There are 6 songs in the film. Akriti Kakar, June Banerjee, Sidhu, Surojit Chatterjee, and Kartik Das Baul have lent their voice to the songs in the film.

Erao Manush draws inspiration from numerous actual events as well as documented reports of the suffering, abuse, neglect, harassment, and cruel treatment that patients in various mental hospitals endure. A compelling narrative with a powerful commercial cinematic treatment incorporates these themes.
