A worldwide celebration of Bengali culture, heritage, art, and the spirit of Durga Puja began with the esteemed curtain-raiser and will culminate on October 17 and 18, 2026, in the center of Times Square, New York City.

Celebrated individuals like Rituparna Sengupta, Madhumita Gupta, Dona Ganguly, and Nicola Gomes were present and participated in the event, along with notable dignitaries and representatives from Bengali Club USA.
