For the first time ever, a success party was organized for a web series. This happened for the recently released web series Parnashavarir Shaap.

The success party was graced by actor-filmmaker Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, and Anindita Bose.

Parambrata thanked the producers and the audience for their support of this series. “Not much supernatural horror is made in this industry and to get such love from the audience is an amazing experience. Usually, the second season of a show comes after a year. But after seeing such a fantastic response, we are announcing the second season today” said Parambrata.

Parnashavarir Shaap was Parambrata’s debut in the digital space as a director.

The series is the official adaptation of Souvik Chakraborty’s popular book series.

Gaurav Chakrabarty said “Even during my recent vacation, people have been coming and telling me that they have watched the series and liked it. That means a lot to an actor. This was my first time working under the direction of Parambrata”.

Parambrata also added that he has been receiving feedback from different individuals from various backgrounds. The important fact is that they have all liked the series and that has made the entire team very happy.

Chiranjeet Chakraborty who played the role of Niren Bhaduri said “It feels great when your work is appreciated. One fun fact is I worked with Surangana as a kid. To think that her buck teeth will come in handy for this role is incredible. She did a good job in the series”.

Parambrata praised Surangana and said “When I told that I will cast Surangana in such a role, most people told me that it will not be effective as she is a pretty girl. But I thought it would be interesting to see the other side of a pretty face. And I have become her fan after seeing her acting in the series”.

With the announcement of the second season already done, audiences can hope to get thrilled again from the makers.
