9 seasoned musicians from the industry will participate in FFACE’s original, one-minute music videos, which will be released on Instagram from each of their individual pages.

FFACE launched One Minute Music from the east of India with Jeet Gannguli, Rupam Islam, Bickram Ghosh, Rupankar Bagchi, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, Sahana Bajpaie, Joy Sarkar, Lopamudra Mitra, and Iman Chakraborty.

These music videos are directed by Baba Yadav and feature Falaque Rashid Roy, Swastika Dutta, and John Bhattacharyya in addition to the above-mentioned musicians.

Neil Roy, the founder, and director of FFACE said, “We have some power-packed musicians from the east. This is a great opportunity to create something new for music lovers. It is a concept never seen before. I am extremely excited to shoot music videos in an entirely new concept which is, vertical in 9:16 aspect ratio primarily for IG Reels.”

Jeet Gannguli said “Films get much support while the non-film works get less support. Hence it is vital that non-film works get as much support as possible. These are original music videos and they need the support and love from the audiences”.

Iman said “I am excited to see the performances of the others. How the other artists have presented a song in a one-minute is what I am looking forward to. However, I will also like to state that this is not a substitute for long-format songs. This is just another way of singing songs. It was very difficult and challenging as we had to present a song in a minute and also tell a story to the audience”.

With this new initiative, non-film music will get a better scope for promotion.
