The first look of the upcoming Bengali film Subho Bijoya is out now.

The film boasts of a stellar cast comprising Kaushik Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Bonny, Koushani, Kharaj Mukherjee, Manasi Sinha Devtanu, Amrita De, and others.

The poignant tale of a joint family in North Kolkata is the story of Subho Bijoya. The extended family starts to split apart more and more over time. The estranged family members are compelled by an incident to return to the house. Relations begin to intertwine. The main conflict in the story is what happens next.

The heads of the family, Amartya, and Bijoya, will be played for the first time by real-life combo Kaushik and Churni Ganguly.

Their older son and daughter-in-law, Aditya and Uma, played by *Bonny – Koushani, act as the family’s glue. This is the first time the audience will see the dynamic duo of Koushani Mukherjee and Bonny Sengupta in a new form.

Other integral characters of the film are:

Akhilesh- Kharaj Mukherjee

Aroti- Manasi Sinha

Devtanu- Ahan, the family’s younger son

Amrita De- Aditi

Subho Bijoya, as the name suggests has a Durga Puja backdrop.

Keeping in mind the flavor of the film, the makers have scheduled to release it post Bijoya Dashami.

Directed by Rohan Sen, the shooting of the floor is already in progress.
