The fourth edition of Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2020 took place on 31st March at Westin, Kolkata, Rajarhat.

Celebrities like Kaushik Ganguly, Srijit Mukherjee, Arindam Sil, Ash King, Benny Dayal, Bikram Ghosh, Anindya Chatterjee, Mayookh Bhaumik, Sourav Das, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Riddhi Sen, Gaurav Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty looked dapper and suave as ever as they walked down the red carpet.

Koel Mallick, Jaya Ahsan, Sudeshna Roy, Subhashree Ganguly, Aparajita Auddy, Iman Chakraborty, Lagnajita, Nikita Gandhi, Aditi Munsi, Ritwika Pal, Sauresheni Maita, Madhumita Sarcar, Ishaa Saha, Puja Banerjee, Monami Ghosh, Ena Saha, Ridhima Ghosh, Sreeja Sen, Sandipta Sen made heads turn at the event as they looked as stunning as ever.

The event was hosted by Parambrata Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Arpita Chatterjee. Kharaj Mukherjee, Aparajita Auddy, and Sayan Ghosh maintained fun and humor at the event.

Anirban Bhattacharya paid a tribute to legendary actor Soumitra Chatterjee who passed away recently. Parambrata also paid homage to the veteran actor.

The event also saw a host of music maestros perform to a series of popular chartbusters. This included a section curated by Indradeep Dasgupta titled ‘Musically Bengal’ where singers like Anupam Roy, Iman Chakraborty, Lagnajita Chakraborty, Nikita Gandhi, Ash King, along with an orchestra of 30 live musicians honored acclaimed music directors of the Bengali film industry by crooning the evergreen melodies.

Ash King and Nikita Gandhi made the evening memorable by performing Rabindra Sangeet on stage as well as paying tribute to director Tarun Majumder, along with Benny Dayal, in a section titled ‘Sizzle of Bengal’.

Madhumita Sarcar, Sauraseni Maitra, and Ishaa Saha dazzled on stage in an electrifying performance titled ‘Beauties of Bengal’.
