The full cast announcement of director Shieladitya Moulik’s next Bengali feature film “Radio” was done recently.

Priyanka Sarkar, Ishan Mazumder, Anindya Chatterjee, Sumana Das, Momo, and Moumita Bose will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The film is about an advertising copywriter who suffers has gone through a major breakup recently. One day a new neighbor comes into the next flat. And he has this loud radio that he keeps playing all the time. That disturbs the girl initially but her loneliness makes her find a friend on the neighbor’s radio.

Director Shieladitya Moulik said that he was trying to tell this story for a long time. It is always very exciting to make films on human relationships. This time he has come up with a story about a girl and a radio. The film is challenging for the director as it has a lot of songs and will make the audience nostalgic.

The director will also be working with Priyanka Sarkar for the first time. The director has always admired her work and has considered a good balance of talent and beauty. He hoped that the audiences will appreciate Priyanka’s new avatar.

The film is produced by Cinemad Pictures and Vishal Entertainment and the line producer is Biplob Das Roy.
