GHUN GAON‘s secrets are becoming more apparent. The upcoming Bengali dark thriller GHUN GAON – CHAPTER 1 unveiled its official trailer and music launch at Jogesh Mime Academy in Kolkata ahead of its theatrical release on September 11, 2026. This event revealed another facet of a world characterized by mystery, fear, deceit, and hidden truths.

The film, which was directed by Soumya Roy Choudhury and produced by Cinekrazy Entertainments, combines suspense, atmospheric storytelling, striking visuals, and an evocative soundscape to create a cinematic world in which the unseen and unheard may be just as significant as the revealed.

Acclaimed singers Timir Biswas and Sayanti Ghosh gave special live musical performances at the Trailer & Music Launch, bringing the movie’s soundtrack from the screen to the stage. Renowned Mumbai-based actress Anindita Bose, well-known actor Ranojoy Bishnu, and the cast and crew of the movie were present at the launch.

“With GHUN GAON, we wanted to create a dark thriller where the mystery is not only in what you see, but also in what you hear and what remains unsaid. While the sound and music draw viewers further into that world, the trailer only serves to open the door. I think this kind of dark thriller will be seen by Bengali audiences for the first time,” said director Soumya Roy Choudhury.

The music has been composed by Tunai Debasish Ganguly, with lyrics penned by Pramit Ghosh. The songs have been sung by  Sunidhi Chauhan, Timir Biswas, Sayanti Ghosh and Srishti Rawani.

GHUN GAON: CHAPTER 1 is gradually drawing viewers further into its eerie world of secrets, deceit, and suspense as the theatrical release date approaches. In order to position itself as a unique addition to the dark-thriller genre in Bengali cinema, the film now enters the last phase of its promotional journey ahead of its theatrical release on September 11, 2026, with the release of the official trailer and music.
