Kolkata Centre for Creativity inaugurated a one-month art exhibition, ‘Interwoven’ by S.G.Vasudev, curated by Nalini S Malaviya.

The legendary S. G. Vasudev, who is regarded as an institution in India, has collaborated with the diverse and welcoming KCC, an organisation that promotes excellence in contemporary art and offers opportunities for young and emerging artists through a robust arts calendar. This is the first time that his works will be on display in Kolkata.

Selected works by the seasoned Bangalore-based artist are shown on Interwoven. Vasudev is renowned for his versatility and has experimented with a variety of media over the course of his 50-year artistic career. Beginning on February 25, a collection of 20 drawings and 15 tapestries will be on show in the first-floor gallery of the Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC). Up until March 25th, 2023, the exhibition will be open through a variety of events.

The focus of this exhibition is still on a few tapestries that span almost three decades as well as new drawings that were recently completed and are being displayed for the first time.
