Max unveiled its Bochor Shuru Max E special summer collection in the presence of the cast of the upcoming Bengali film Durgeshgorer Guptodhon. Also gracing the occasion was Rajib Mukherjee, Regional Head, AVP East and Central, Max Fashion.

The new collection takes its inspiration from exotic tropical destinations and natural look. The range is mostly about holiday look and relaxed styling. Strappy wrap dresses, floral button down skirts, graphic tees and many others all form a part of the collection.

The motion logo of the film was unveiled at the same event by the lead cast of the film consistsing of Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Ishaa Saha and director Dhrubo Banerjee. This is a first time for a Bengali film that a motion logo has been made.

Durgeshgorer Guptodhon, brings back the famous trio of Sona Da (Abir Chatterjee), Abir (Arjun Chakrabarty) and Jhinuk (IshaaSaha). An animated underwater video was played in the motion logo showing a few fish swimming by, as a golden conch is suddenly immersed in the water. The new logo then revealed itself with the message that Sona Da is returning for a new hunt!

The story of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon show the trio of Professor Subarna Sen, a professor of history, along with Abir ( Arjun) and Jhinuk ( Ishaa) who decide to visit one of Sona da’s student’s ancestral mansion at Durgeshgor. The great grandfather of this student was an erstwhile zamindar and a renowned artist of Bengal. There is a myth that runs in the family that they had once received a massive treasure, but all traces and trails of it had been lost. Sona da along with Abir and Jhinuk join a festivity in that mansion in Durgeshgor and stumble upon the lost clues that may lead them in unearthing one of the greatest treasures of Bengal!

Speaking at the occasion, the director said “It is only when the film will release that you will get to know about the location of Durgeshgor. Until then you can search for it. All I can say is that Durga Puja will be at the backdrop of this story”.

The actors and the director were all dressed in dresses by Max’s new Poila Boisakh collection.

Ishaa who looked radiant in a white dress mentioned that they had great fun while shooting the film. She also highlighted on the fact that the bond between the actors have also developed greatly during the shoot of the film.

Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, the film also stars Anindya Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Kharaj Mukherjee, June Maliah, Aryann, Arindam Sil, Kamaleswar Mukherjee and Joydeep Kundu in pivotal roles and the music and background score are composed by Bickram Ghosh.

The film is scheduled to release in May 2019.
